why does it export my material on xvid even though i set it on divx?

If you choose DivX as a codec, VE uses it. How did you determine that your output material is xvid?

These 2 codecs are very similar and compatible. One can be used for decompression of files compressed with the other. Probably you play your files with xvid even when they're coded with divx.

But i find the reason of this problem.Its why i install the divx-codec after installing
