No, I'm not saying anything about setting that SampleTime parameter, changing input parameter is meaningless.

I'm just saying your code above is almost good, just remove initialSampleTime.

ok...I did and it still crashes after the first frame.

So, finally, thank you for your dedication throughout this attempt, but, to all who may be thinking about selecting ACTi IP cameras - BEWARE.  I am ditching any further use of their camera line - no support for DirectShow and their free SDK is a joke.

BTW...I really love GEP...and did purchase as promised.

Does it really crash or just stop with an error?

There is still probability that you made some mistakes in timestamping. But also probably you're right and there are other reasons for malfunctioning.

Thanks for the purchase, keep an eye on GEP as it's going to become even better later this year. Among planned features: DirectShow Editing Services and working with graphs from remote PCs over network.

Yes, you're correct...it just stops with an error, but doesn't crash...bad choice of words.

Well, if I am making mistakes with the Timestamps, I don't see where.  For the SetTime method, the first frame start/end is set to 0/666660, the second frame start/end to 666660/1333320, the third frame start/end to 1333320/1999980, so basically it is increasing at the constant 666660 value.

The SetMediaTime start/stop for the first frame is 0/1, second frame 2/3, third frame 4/5, etc.

Unless you can see an issue here, I'm just going to use other cameras.

Thanks,

Yes, here's the issue:

> SetMediaTime start/stop for the first frame is 0/1, second frame 2/3, third frame 4/5, etc.

Should be 0/1, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 etc.

My mistake...my last reply was incorrect regarding the SetMediaTime start and end times.  I am using 0/1, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, etc. for the Media Time as indicated by the code I posted in Reply #11.  So, I recommend closing this post as I have dropped any further attempt at using the ACTi Source Filter.

Thanks again for your time and help.
