Newb to GE+ here.

When trying out the graphical interface, I can connect an audio capture source to Windows Media Audio V2, select a "SetFormat" setting on both the output pin of the source and the WMAV2 filter, then select "render pin" on the output pin of the encoder, and everything renders fine (decoder and audio renderer are inserted automatically). However, trying the same thing with WMAudio Encoder DMO doesn't seem to work no matter what I try (decoder and renderer are also inserted automatically, appear to have the right settings, but no sound). Sampling frequencies are matched up and the graph appears to run OK, but no sound on the rendere and the Advanced property page for it doesn't show anything going through. Windows Media Audio V1 also does not appear to work.

Any ideas?

Many thanks and HNY,

Interesting... Tried it out on another computer and found out a few things, which of course pertain only to my system(s).

Using version 11.xxx of the codecs (both WMAudio Encoder and Decoder) on XP, the graph didn't seem to work. Manually unregistered and re-registered versions 10.0.0.3802 of both Encoder and Decoder dlls (wmadmoe and qasf), which seemed to work on the second computer. Now the graph appears to work. However, Windows Media Audio V1 still doesn't work - will look at the error codes to try to figure out why.
