We recommend using "AC-3 ACM codec" for audio. It has a good quality/compression ratio and works well.
Select it from the list when choosing codecs for output file. Press Configure button to choose audio compression and quality. If selected audio mode does not suite the actual sound (e.g. frequency is different), when you start processing Video Enhancer will show the list of available audio modes again, now showing only suitable ones.

Also, "Lame MP3" is a nice choice.

If no audio codec works with your file, select PCM - this is uncompressed sound.

This just means the problem is not with audio.
Your original video may have issues with video framerate, for example.

PCM is uncompressed audio, this is probably what you need.

I have tried all above and still no sound.  Even no compression in video or audio.  I am starting with 3g2 files from phone camera.  There is sound on the 3g2 file

Thanx

For audio we recommend using AC3 ACM codec which can be downloaded here:
http://home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/AC3ACM/AC3ACM.zip

Unpack the archive, go to x86 folder, right click on .inf file ans select Install.

For 3GP files, you will need a directshow AAC filter.

Download The CoreAAC directshow filter from this site:
