I chose ffdshow video encoder for video, but didn't know what to choose in the configure dialog box. I noticed that there was not 'H.264' in the encoder pull-down menu, but H.263 and MPEG-2 and so on.
So, what should I do ?

If you want to stick with ffdshow to encode to H.264, google ffdshow tryouts and download it, install it, then H.264 should be on the drop down menu. I would say ffdshow is quite unstable for encoding, I only use it to decode.
