yes, i do think that the decoding with post processing does work.

have you tried my suggested method using the decoder to process the video?
after you set the settings in decoder, play the video and see if the post processing effects have taken effect.
If they have then just import then video into video enhancer of virtualdub (preferably) and just render the video with no filters.
If the post processing effects did not take effect then I guess you are going to have to play around until you get the decoder to work.

Yes, in ffdshow decoder settings i enabled postprocessing. Rendered video in video enhancer with no filters, divx3, and when I encoded video with video enhancer i see in the processing video the two videos and postprocessing is working. Unchecked post processing when I played back video in wmp12 and seems to have worked. I will test some other videos to make sure thanks.
