Hi,
I tried out the vdfilter directshow filter in an app and it displayed a watermark, my question is why is this not mentioned anywhere, basically it not freeware?

Actually for end users it is free. But not for developers wishing to use it in their applications. To avoid such illicit uses this watermark was added. Version without watermark is available on request.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up, I would like to request for the version without the watermark, does it cost a fee though?

Hmm Deemon, you guys should make a player that does SR on the fly....Since GPU support is already underway I'm sure a player with SR capabilities would be great, considering all current SR players only work on DVD input, to make a player work on any "file" input would be awesome.
PS: still waiting on VE 2.0 lol.

Milardo, I've sent a watermark-free version to your email. It's free for personal use.

Never tried it in AviSynth, there's no sense in doing it, you won't be able to configure the filter. There is some native support for VD filters in AviSynth, I don't think our filter will be better.
Sent you the filter by email.

Sorry haven't checked your site in a long time.....completely caught up with school etc. I got the email and thank you very much and although I don't know exactly how to use it yet I am sure it will come in handy when I need it most. Thanks again .

Hello Dee Mon,
I need the vdfilter not marked, too. Because, I use the AVIVO Converter(using GPGPU). But ahm.. this app can not chage resolution detail.. So I favorite use graphedit to change the resolution.
please send me, Thank you.

VDFilter does not do that, it's for running some VirtualDub filters in graphedit.
