Am I doing something wrong?
Will a registered version of Super Res plugin have the same problem?

I'm running VirtualDub 1.9.11 on Win XP32, have done for ages and generally stable.
I'm trialling the Super Res plugin (unregistered).
Theres no other plug ins in the plugin folder.
FFDShow is not active (RAW Video disabled).

What does work-
I can open a video, then apply super res plug in without changing any parameters.
I can close the VD Filters dialogue and see Super Res working fine.

What doesnt work-
Open same video as above.
Apply a null filter and use VD Cropping to reduce the image down to a small area of interest
(full frame is 720x576, I'm cropping to a selection 100x80, or 90x72, same aspect ratio)
If I then apply the Super Res plugin without changing any parameters-
upon closing the VD filters dialogue, VD goes unresponsive...
screen redraws are frozen, I cannot operate VD anymore, WinXP is still fine though.

Similarly If I repeat steps in What Does Work, but go back to VD Filters dialogue and try to Crop the SuperRes plugin line, I can set it all up, but when I close the dialogue to go back to the main VD interface, it goes unresponsive.

What Does Work 2 -
I can apply Super Res first.
Then apply a Null transform second, and Crop to the desired area,
and VD is happy to keep running.

I'd still prefer to be able to crop prior to applying Super Res.
Thinking that it would save processing a lot of pixels that I dont want to see.

Many thanks for your great tools Dee Mon.

Looks like a bug in our plugin, thanks for reporting. We'll try to fix it soon.

Hmm, can't reproduce in VD 1.9.10. Cropping before SR works fine:

Edit: just tried with 1.9.11, same thing, everything works fine.
Tested in 32-bit VirtualDub under Win 7 64-bit. Not XP, but I doubt it matters here.
We need more info how to reproduce your case.
